Padi Cultivators (Control of Rent and Security of Tenure) Act 1967 s 1

s 1 Short title, commencement and application

(1) This Act may be cited as the Padi Cultivators (Control of Rent and Security of Tenure) Act 1967, and shall apply only to Peninsular Malaysia. (2) This Act shall come into force on such date as the State Authority may by order published in the Gazette appoint and the State Authority may appoint different dates for the coming into force of different provisions of this Act and may bring all or any provisions thereof into force either in the whole of the State to which the order applies or in such area thereof as may be specified in the order. *NOTE—Applicable only to the Districts of Kuala Selangor, Sabak Bernam, Ulu Selangor and Ulu Langat.
