s 58 Smuggling of prohibited articles into prison

(1) A person who smuggles or attempts to smuggle a prohibited article into or out of a prison shall be guilty of an offence and shall be liable, on conviction, to a fine not exceeding *ten thousand ringgit or to *imprisonment for a term not exceeding five years or to both. (2) In this section, “prohibited article” means any drugs, money or liquor and includes any instrument or article as may be prescribed by the Commissioner General from time to time.
