(1) The Education Act 1961, the Education Repeal. Act 43/61 (Amendment) Act 1963, the Education Act (Extension Act 32/63/ to Sarawak) Order 1975 and the Education Act (Extension P.U.(A) to Sabah) Order 1976 are repealed. 425/75. P.U.(A) 176/76. (2) All appointments, regulations, rules, by-laws, exemptions, directions and orders made, all registers kept and all certificates granted or having effect under the laws or orders repealed by this section and in force or having effect at the commencement of this Act, shall (without prejudice to the power of the Minister to amend the regulations, rules and by-laws, by any regulations or to amend, revoke or withdraw the exemptions, directions or certificates by order or direction made under the appropriate provisions of this Act and subject to such modifications as may be necessary to bring the reguiations, rules, by-laws, exemptions, directions, or orders in conformity with this Act) continue to be in force and have effect as if they had been made, kept, or granted under this Act, until otherwise provided for under this Act.
