s 89

(1) Subject to section 90, the Registrar General shall, upon an application duly made and after such enquiry as he may think necessary, register a person as a governor or an employee in respect of an educational institution and shall issue to him a certificate of registration in the prescribed form. (2) The Registrar General may in his discretion issue- (a) to a person applying for registration under this Chapter (whether on the registration of an educational institution or subsequently); or (b) to a person needed to act temporarily as governor oi employee, a permit, in such form as may be prescribed, to act in that capacity, and while the permit is in force the person to whom the permit is issued shall be deemed to be registered under this Act. (3) A permit issued under subsection (2) may be revoked by the Registrar General at any time and, in the case of a person applying for registration, shall cease to be in force upon the registration under this Act of the person to whom the permit is issued.
