Syariah Criminal Offences (Federal Territories) Act 1997 s 18

s 18 Gambling

(1) Any person who gambles, or is found in a gaming house, a fine not exceeding three thousand ringgit or to imprisonment for a term not exceeding two years or to both. (2) In this section, “gaming house” means any premises, including a room, an office or a stall, whether open or enclosed, used or kept for the purpose of any game of chance or a combination of skill and chance, whether permitted by any other law or otherwise, for money or money’s worth.

Berjudi

(1) Mana-mana orang yang berjudi, atau didapati berada di rumah judi, adalah melakukan suatu kesalahan dan apabila disabitkan boleh didenda tidak melebihi tiga ribu ringgit atau dipenjarakan selama tempoh tidak melebihi dua tahun atau kedua-duanya. (2) Dalam seksyen ini, ―rumah judi‖ ertinya mana-mana premis, termasuk bilik, pejabat atau gerai, sama ada terbuka atau tertutup, yang digunakan atau disimpan bagi maksud penjalanan apa-apa permainan yang keputusannya bergantung kepada nasib atau campuran kemahiran dan nasib, sama ada dibenarkan oleh mana-mana undang-undang lain atau sebaliknya, untuk mendapat wang atau nilai wang.
