Syariah Criminal Offences (Federal Territories) Act 1997 s 34

s 34 Illegal payment of zakat or fitrah

Any person who pays or causes to be paid payment of zakat or fitrah to any person not lawfully authorized to collect zakat or fitrah shall be guilty of an offence and shall on conviction be liable to a fine not exceeding one thousand ringgit or to imprisonment for a term not exceeding six months or to both.

Pembayaran tidak sah zakat atau fitrah

Mana-mana orang yang membayar atau menyebabkan supaya dibayar zakat atau fitrah kepada mana-mana orang yang tidak diberi kuasa secara sah untuk memungut zakat fitrah atau fitrah adalah tidak melebihi satu ribu ringgit atau dipenjarakan selama tempoh tidak melebihi enam bulan atau kedua-duanya.
