Syariah Criminal Offences (Federal Territories) Act 1997 s 57
(1) Part IX of the Enactment, other than sections 164 and 165, shall cease to apply to the Federal Territories and shall to that extent be deemed to have been repealed. (2) Notwithstanding the repeal of Part IX of the Enactment (the “repealed Part”) all proceedings under that repealed Part, including any appeal from any Court under the repealed Part, shall be continued as if this Act had not been passed.
Pemansuhan
(1) Bahagian IX Enakmen, selain seksyen 164 dan 165, hendaklah terhenti terpakai bagi Wilayah Persekutuan dan setakat itu hendaklah disifatkan telah dimansuhkan. (2) Walaupun Bahagian IX Enakmen dimansuhkan (―Bahagian termansuh‖) segala prosiding di bawah Bahagian termansuh itu, termasuk apa-apa rayuan daripada mana-mana Mahkamah di bawah Bahagian termansuh itu, hendaklah diteruskan seolah-olah Akta ini tidak diluluskan.
