s 8 Deriding, etc., Quranic verses or Hadith
Any person who, by his words or acts, derides, insults, ridicules or brings into contempt the verses of Al-Quran or Hadith shall be guilty of an offence and shall on conviction be liable to a fine not exceeding five thousand ringgit or to imprisonment for a term not exceeding three years or to both.

Mempersendakan, dll. ayat Al-Quran atau Hadith
Mana-mana orang yang, dengan kata-katanya atau perbuatannya, mempersendakan, menghina, mencemuh atau menyebabkan dipandang hina ayat-ayat Al-Quran atau Hadith adalah melakukan suatu kesalahan dan apabila disabitkan boleh didenda tidak melebihi lima ribu ringgit atau dipenjarakan selama tempoh tidak melebihi tiga tahun atau kedua-duanya.
