s 148 Jurisdiction to try offences
Notwithstanding any written law to the contrary, a Court of a Magistrate of the First Class shall have jurisdiction to try any offence under this Act and to impose the full punishment for any such offence.

Walau apa pun mana-mana undang-undang bertulis yang berlawanan, Mahkamah Majistret Kelas Pertama hendaklah mempunyai bidang kuasa untuk membicarakan apa-apa kesalahan di bawah Akta ini dan mengenakan hukuman penuh bagi mana-mana kesalahan sedemikian.
