Sales Tax Act 1972 s 83

In this Part, unless the context otherwise requires— “Langkawi” means Langkawi Island and all adjacent islands lying nearer to Langkawi Island than to the mainland; “principal customs area” means Malaysia exclusive of Labuan, Langkawi and Tioman.

Dalam Bahagian ini, melainkan jika konteksnya menghendaki makna yang lain— “kawasan utama kastam” ertinya Malaysia tidak termasuk Labuan, Langkawi dan Tioman; “Langkawi” ertinya Pulau Langkawi dan semua pulau yang berdampingan dan terletak lebih hampir dengan Pulau Langkawi daripada dengan tanah besar.
