Animals Act 1953 s 78

s 78 Action to be at risk and expense of owner

(1) Any action taken under this Act or of any order, rule, or direction made or given under it in respect of any animal, bird, carcass, article, building or conveyance shall be at the risk of it’s owner. (2) No liability shall attach to any Government or to any officer in respect of any expense, loss, damage or delay arising in or from the lawful exercise of the powers conferred by this Act.
