s 22 Practice by foreign geologist
(1) A person seeking to be registered as a registered foreign geologist shall apply to the Board and the application shall be supported by documentary proof that he possesses the qualifications required under subsection (2).
(2) A foreign geologist may be considered for registration as a registered foreign geologist if he satisfies the Board thatβ
(a) he possesses the necessary qualifications that are recognized for the practice of geology as a professional geologist in the country where he normally practices; and
(b) he possesses the necessary expertise.
(3) The Chairman may, with the concurrence in writing of at least two-thirds of the members of the Board, in writing approve the registration of any foreign geologist.
(4) The Chairman may, in approving the registration under subsection (3), impose such conditions or restrictions as he considers fit.
(5) The Chairman may approve the registration of a foreign geologist for such period not exceeding one calendar year and may renew the registration in accordance with subsection (3) as he considers fit.
(6) The Chairman shall notify the foreign geologist of the decision of the Board within ninety days of the receipt of the application.
(7) Without prejudice to section 33, the Chairman may, with the concurrence in writing of at least two-thirds of the members of the Board, revoke the registration of a registered foreign geologist by a written notice served on the foreign geologist without assigning any reason for the revocation.
(8) Upon the revocation of the registration of a registered foreign geologist under subsection (7), the foreign geologist concerned shall cease to exercise any right or privilege accorded to him under this Act but he shall be entitled to recover in any court any fee, charge, remuneration or any other form of consideration for services rendered by him before the date of receipt of the notice from the Chairman revoking the registration.

Amalan oleh ahli geologi asing
(1) Seseorang yang mahu supaya didaftarkan sebagai seorang ahli geologi asing berdaftar boleh memohon kepada Lembaga dan permohonan itu hendaklah disokong dengan bukti dokumentar bahawa dia memiliki kelayakan yang dikehendaki di bawah subseksyen (2).
(2) Seseorang ahli geologi asing boleh ditimbangkan bagi pendaftaran sebagai seorang ahli geologi asing berdaftar jika dia memuaskan hati Lembaga bahawaβ
(a) dia memiliki kelayakan yang perlu yang diiktiraf bagi amalan geologi sebagai seorang ahli geologi profesional dalam negara tempat dia biasa menjalankan amalan; dan
(b) dia memiliki kepakaran yang diperlukan.
(3) Pengerusi boleh, dengan persetujuan secara bertulis sekurangkurangnya dua pertiga anggota Lembaga, secara bertulis meluluskan pendaftaran mana-mana ahli geologi asing.
(4) Pengerusi boleh, semasa meluluskan pendaftaran di bawah subseksyen (3), mengenakan apa-apa syarat atau sekatan sebagaimana yang difikirkannya patut.
(5) Pengerusi boleh meluluskan pendaftaran seseorang ahli geologi asing bagi suatu tempoh yang tidak melebihi satu tahun kalendar dan boleh membaharui pendaftaran itu mengikut subseksyen (3) sebagaimana yang difikirkannya patut.
(6) Pengerusi hendaklah memberitahu ahli geologi asing itu tentang keputusan Lembaga dalam tempoh sembilan puluh hari dari tarikh permohonan diterima.
(7) Tanpa menjejaskan seksyen 33, Pengerusi boleh, dengan persetujuan secara bertulis dua pertiga anggota Lembaga, membatalkan pendaftaran seseorang ahli geologi asing berdaftar dengan menyampaikan suatu notis bertulis kepada ahli geologi itu tanpa memberikan apa-apa sebab bagi pembatalan itu.
(8) Apabila pendaftaran seorang ahli geologi asing berdaftar dibatalkan di bawah subseksyen (7), ahli geologi asing yang berkenaan hendaklah berhenti menjalankan apa-apa hak atau keistimewaan yang diberikan kepadanya di bawah Akta ini tetapi dia berhak mendapatkan di mana-mana mahkamah apa-apa fi, caj, saraan atau balasan dalam apa-apa bentuk lain bagi perkhidmatan yang diberikannya sebelum tarikh penerimaan notis daripada Pengerusi membatalkan pendaftarannya.
