s 26 Exception in respect of registered foreign geologist
(1) Notwithstanding subsection 23(1), a registered foreign geologist who is authorized in writing by the Chairman may do any act or thing that the foreign geologist would otherwise be prohibited from doing or not be entitled to do.
(2) A registered foreign geologist who does any act or thing under and in accordance with an authorization given under subsection (1) shall, notwithstanding any provision of this Act to the contrary, be deemed to be permitted or entitled to do that act or thing.

Kekecualian berkenaan dengan ahli geologi asing berdaftar
(1) Walau apa pun seksyen 23(1), seseorang ahli geologi asing berdaftar yang dibenarkan secara bertulis oleh Pengerusi boleh melakukan apa-apa perbuatan atau benda yang ahli geologi asing itu dilarang melakukannya atau tidak berhak untuk melakukannya.
(2) Seseorang ahli geologi asing berdaftar yang melakukan apa-apa perbuatan atau benda di bawah dan mengikut kebenaran yang diberikan di bawah subseksyen (1) hendaklah, walau apa pun apa-apa peruntukan Akta ini yang bertentangan, disifatkan sebagai dibenarkan atau berhak untuk melakukan perbuatan atau benda itu.
