National Kenaf and Tobacco Board Act 2009 s 6
s 6 Membership of the Board
The Board shall consist of the following members:
(a) a Chairman who shall be appointed by the Minister;
(b) the Secretary General of the Ministry responsible for the kenaf industry and tobacco industry;
(c) the Secretary General of the Ministry responsible for agriculture;
(d) the Secretary General of the Treasury;
(e) the Secretary General of the Ministry of Rural and Regional Development;
(f) the Secretary General of the Ministry of International Trade and Industry;
(g) the Secretary General of the Ministry of Health;
(h) the Director General; and
(i) six other persons who shall be appointed by the Minister who, in the opinion of the Minister, have the experience and shown capacity and professionalism in matters relating to the development of the kenaf industry and tobacco industry, of whom there shall be—
(i) a representative of the tobacco manufacturers;
(ii) a representative of the licensed curer; and
(iii) a representative of the kenaf industry.

Keanggotaan Lembaga
Lembaga hendaklah terdiri daripada anggota yang berikut:
(a) seorang Pengerusi yang hendaklah dilantik oleh Menteri;
(b) Ketua Setiausaha Kementerian yang bertanggungjawab bagi industri kenaf dan industri tembakau;
(c) Ketua Setiausaha Kementerian yang bertanggungjawab bagi pertanian;
(d) Ketua Setiausaha Perbendaharaan;
(e) Ketua Setiausaha Kementerian Pembangunan Luar Bandar dan Wilayah;
(f) Ketua Setiausaha Kementerian Perdagangan Antarabangsa dan Industri;
(g) Ketua Setiausaha Kementerian Kesihatan;
(h) Ketua Pengarah; dan
(i) enam orang yang hendaklah dilantik oleh Menteri yang, pada pendapat Menteri, mempunyai pengalaman dan menunjukkan keupayaan dan profesionalisme dalam perkara yang berhubungan dengan industri kenaf dan industri tembakau, yang daripadanya hendaklah ada—
(i) seorang wakil pengilang tembakau;
(ii) seorang wakil pengawet berlesen; dan
(iii) seorang wakil industri kenaf.
