Judicial Appointments Commission Act 2009 s 33

s 33 Giving false information to the Commission

Any person who wilfully gives to the Commission any information which is false or misleading in support of any candidacy for selection under this Act commits an offence and shall, on conviction, be liable to a fine not exceeding one hundred thousand ringgit or to imprisonment for a term not exceeding two years or to both.

Memberikan maklumat palsu kepada Suruhanjaya

Mana-mana orang yang dengan sengaja memberi Suruhanjaya apa-apa maklumat yang palsu atau mengelirukan bagi menyokong mana-mana pencalonan bagi pemilihan di bawah Akta ini melakukan suatu kesalahan dan boleh, apabila disabitkan, didenda tidak melebihi satu ratus ribu ringgit atau dipenjarakan selama tempoh tidak melebihi dua tahun atau kedua-duanya.
