s 12 Access to Register
(1) No person shall have access to the Register and to the documents kept by the Registrar except the Minister, Attorney General, Director General and any other person who is authorized in writing by the Director General.
(2) Notwithstanding any written law to the contrary, the Register shall not be produced to any person or in any proceedings in a court, tribunal, Commission or an inquiry.
(3) Any person who contravenes this section commits an offence and shall, on conviction, be punished with imprisonment for a term not exceeding twenty years.

Akses kepada Daftar
(1) Tiada seorang pun boleh mempunyai akses kepada Daftar dan dokumen yang disimpan oleh Pendaftar kecuali Menteri, Peguam Negara, Ketua Pengarah dan mana-mana orang lain yang dibenarkan secara bertulis oleh Ketua Pengarah.
(2) Walau apa pun mana-mana undang-undang bertulis yang berlawanan, Daftar tidak boleh dikemukakan kepada mana-mana orang atau dalam mana-mana prosiding dalam mahkamah, tribunal, Suruhanjaya atau siasatan.
(3) Mana-mana orang yang melanggar seksyen ini melakukan suatu kesalahan dan hendaklah, apabila disabitkan, dihukum dengan pemenjaraan selama tempoh tidak melebihi dua puluh tahun.
