Deoxyribonucleic Acid (DNA) Identification Act 2009 s 25
s 25 Savings and transitional
Any existing DNA profile and any information in relation thereto kept and maintained by the Chemistry Department of Malaysia or Royal Malaysia Police, immediately before the coming into operation of this Act shall, on the coming into operation of this Act, be deemed to have been kept and maintained in and to form part of the DNA Databank established under this Act in accordance with indices applying.

Apa-apa profil DNA dan apa-apa maklumat berhubung dengannya yang sedia ada disimpan dan disenggarakan oleh Jabatan Kimia Malaysia atau Polis Diraja Malaysia, sebaik sebelum permulaan kuat kuasa Akta ini hendaklah, pada permulaan kuat kuasa Akta ini, disifatkan telah disimpan dan disenggarakan di dalam dan menjadi sebahagian daripada Bank Data DNA yang ditubuhkan di bawah Akta ini mengikut indeks yang terpakai.
