s 5 Membership of the Authority
(1) The Authority shall consist of the following members:
(a) a Chairman;
(b) a Deputy Chairman;
(c) the Director General of Drainage and Irrigation or his representative;
(d) a representative of the Federal Agricultural Marketing Authority established under the Federal Agricultural Marketing Authority Act 1965 [Act 141];
(e) a representative of the Bank Pertanian Malaysia established under the Bank Pertanian Malaysia Act 1969 [Act 9];
(f) a representative of the Lembaga Padi dan Beras Negara established under the Lembaga Padi dan Beras Negara Act 1971* [Act 47];
(g) a representative of the State of Kedah;
(h) a representative of the State of Perlis; and
(i) not more than four other members.
(2) The Chairman shall be appointed by the Yang di-Pertuan Agong and the other members of the Authority shall be appointed by the Minister.
(3) The provisions of the First Schedule to this Act shall apply to the members of the Authority.
*NOTE—Lembaga Padi dan Beras Negara Act 1971 [Act 47] has been repealed by Control of Padi and Rice Act 1994 [Act 522].

(1) Lembaga hendaklah terdiri daripada ahli yang berikut:
(a) Pengerusi;
(b) Timbalan Pengerusi;
(c) Ketua Pengarah Pengairan dan Saliran atau wakilnya; seorang wakil Lembaga Pemasaran Pertanian Persasara Pertanidin Persekudin 1965 1kka 14/5 a
(e) seorang wakil Bank Pertanian Malaysia yang ditubuhkan di bawah Akta Bank Pertanian Malaysia 1969 [Akta 9];
seorang wakil Lembaga Padi dan Beras Negara yang ditubuhkan di bawah Akta Lembaga Padi dan Beras Negara 1971[Akta 47]*;
(g) seorang wakil Negeri Kedah;
(h) seorang wakil Negeri Perlis; dan
(i) tidak lebih daripada empat orang ahli yang lain. 2) Pengerusi hendaklah dilantik oleh Yang di-Pertuan Agon, lan ahli Lembaga yang lain hendaklah dilantik oleh Menteri
