Judges' Ethics Committee Act 2010 s 9

s 9 Enquiry

(1) The proceedings of the Committee shall not be a trial but an enquiry as regards the breach of any provisions of the Code of Ethics committed by a judge referred to it by the Chief Justice of the Federal Court. (2) The Evidence Act 1950 [Act 56] shall not apply to proceedings of the Committee.

Siasatan

(1) Prosiding Jawatankuasa bukanlah suatu perbicaraan tetapi suatu siasatan mengenai pelanggaran mana-mana peruntukan Kod Etika yang dilakukan oleh seseorang hakim yang dirujukkan kepadanya oleh Ketua Hakim Negara Mahkamah Persekutuan. (2) Akta Keterangan 1950 [Akta 56] tidak terpakai bagi prosiding Jawatankuasa.
