s 86 Application of partnership law
(1) The rules of equity and of common law applicable to partnerships—
(a) shall continue to be applicable to a Labuan limited partnership, except in so far as they are inconsistent with the express provisions of this Act; and
(b) shall not apply to a Labuan limited liability partnership.
(2) The provisions of the Partnership Act 1961 [Act 135] shall not be applicable to a Labuan limited partnership and Labuan limited liability partnership established or registered under this Act.

Pemakaian undang-undang perkongsian
(1) Rukun ekuiti dan common law yang terpakai bagi perkongsian—
(a) hendaklah terus terpakai bagi sesuatu perkongsian terhad Labuan, kecuali setakat yang tidak selaras dengan peruntukan nyata Akta ini; dan
(b) tidak terpakai bagi sesuatu perkongsian liabiliti terhad Labuan.
(2) Peruntukan Akta Perkongsian 1961 [Akta 135] tidak terpakai bagi sesuatu perkongsian terhad Labuan dan perkongsian liabiliti terhad Labuan yang ditubuhkan atau didaftarkan di bawah Akta ini.
