Competition Act 2010 s 30

s 30 Release of record, book, account, etc., seized

If any record, book, account, document, computerized data or other thing has been seized under this Act, the Commission officer who effected the seizure may release the record, book, account, document, computerized data or other thing to the person he determines to be lawfully entitled to it, if the record, book, account, document, computerized data or other thing is not otherwise required for the purpose of any proceedings under this Act or for the purpose of any prosecution under any other written law, and in such event neither the Commission officer effecting the seizure, nor the Federal Government, the Commission or any person acting on behalf of the Federal Government or the Commission shall be liable to any proceedings by any person if the seizure and the release of the record, book, account, document, computerized data or other thing had been effected in good faith.

Pelepasan rekod, buku, akaun, dsb., yang disita

Jika mana-mana rekod, buku, akaun, dokumen, data berkomputer atau benda lain telah disita di bawah Akta ini, pegawai Suruhanjaya yang membuat penyitaan itu boleh melepaskan rekod, buku, akaun, dokumen, data berkomputer atau benda lain itu kepada orang yang ditentukan olehnya sebagai berhak secara sah kepadanya, jika rekod, buku, akaun, dokumen, data berkomputer atau benda lain itu tidak dikehendaki selainnya bagi maksud apa-apa prosiding di bawah Akta ini atau bagi maksud apa-apa pendakwaan di bawah mana-mana undang-undang bertulis yang lain, dan sekiranya sedemikian pegawai Suruhanjaya yang membuat penyitaan itu, Kerajaan Persekutuan, Suruhanjaya atau mana-mana orang yang bertindak bagi pihak Kerajaan Persekutuan atau Suruhanjaya tidak boleh dikenakan apa-apa prosiding oleh mana-mana orang jika penyitaan dan pelepasan rekod, buku, akaun, dokumen, data berkomputer atau benda lain itu telah dibuat dengan suci hati.
