s 71 Duty of licensee and licensed operator to keep records, etc.
(1) It shall be the duty of every licensee and licensed operator under this Part to keep such—
(a) accounts and records as required by the regulations made under paragraph 252(1)(tak) in relation to the licence or operator’s licence issued to it or him; and
(b) records in relation to the use of relevant vehicles as may be required by the regulations made under paragraph 252(1)(tak).
(2) A licensee who fails to comply with subsection (1) commits an offence and shall, on conviction, be liable to a fine not exceeding five thousand ringgit or to imprisonment for a term not exceeding one year or to both.
(3) A licensed operator who fails to comply with subsection (1) commits an offence and shall, on conviction, be liable to a fine of not less than one thousand ringgit but not more than ten thousand ringgit or to imprisonment for a term not exceeding six months or to both.

Kewajipan pemegang lesen dan pengendali berlesen untuk menyimpan rekod, dsb.
(1) Menjadi kewajipan tiap-tiap pemegang lesen dan pengendali berlesen di bawah Bahagian ini untuk menyimpan apa-apa —
(a) akaun dan rekod sebagaimana yang dikehendaki oleh kaedah-kaedah yang dibuat oleh Suruhanjaya di bawah perenggan 253(1)(mm) berhubung dengan lesen atau lesen pengendali yang dikeluarkan kepadanya; dan
(b) rekod yang berhubungan dengan penggunaan kenderaan yang berkaitan sebagaimana yang dikehendaki oleh kaedah-kaedah yang dibuat oleh Suruhanjaya di bawah perenggan 253(1)(mm).
(2) Seseorang pemegang lesen yang tidak mematuhi subseksyen (1) melakukan suatu kesalahan dan boleh, apabila disabitkan, didenda tidak melebihi lima ribu ringgit atau dipenjarakan selama tempoh tidak melebihi satu tahun atau kedua-duanya.
(3) Seseorang pengendali berlesen yang tidak mematuhi subseksyen (1) melakukan suatu kesalahan dan boleh, apabila disabitkan, didenda tidak kurang daripada satu ribu ringgit tetapi tidak lebih daripada sepuluh ribu ringgit atau dipenjarakan selama tempoh tidak melebihi enam bulan atau kedua-duanya.
