s 12 Application to include other professions of allied health
(1) Any person may apply to the Council to include any profession of allied health, or prescribe any activity relating to allied health, in such manner as may be determined by the Council, as an Allied Health Profession to which this Act shall apply.
(2) Upon receipt of an application under subsection (1), the Council shall make such recommendations to the Minister as the Council deems proper.
(3) Where the Minister approves the application under subsection (1), the Minister may, by order published in the Gazette, add such profession of allied health to the Second Schedule, or prescribe such activity relating to allied health by regulations, as the case may be, as an Allied Health Profession to which this Act shall apply.

Permohonan untuk memasukkan profesion dalam kesihatan bersekutu yang lain
(1) Mana-mana orang boleh memohon kepada Majlis untuk menjadikan apa-apa profesion dalam kesihatan bersekutu, atau menetapkan apa-apa aktiviti yang berhubungan dengan kesihatan bersekutu, mengikut apa-apa cara yang ditentukan oleh Majlis, sebagai suatu Profesion Kesihatan Bersekutu yang Akta ini hendaklah terpakai baginya.
(2) Apabila menerima permohonan di bawah subseksyen (1), Majlis hendaklah membuat syor kepada Menteri sebagaimana yang difikirkan wajar oleh Majlis.
(3) Jika Menteri meluluskan permohonan di bawah subseksyen (1), Menteri boleh, melalui perintah yang disiarkan dalam Warta, menambah profesion dalam kesihatan bersekutu itu ke dalam Jadual Kedua, atau menetapkan aktiviti yang berhubungan dengan
kesihatan bersekutu itu melalui peraturan-peraturan, mengikut mana-mana yang berkenaan, sebagai Profesion Kesihatan Bersekutu yang Akta ini hendaklah terpakai baginya.
