s 10 Duration of licence
(1) Subject to section 11C and subsection (3), a licence shall, unless sooner revoked, be valid for a period not exceeding two years.
(2) When a licence is granted, the Registrar shall specify in the licence the date on which the licence is to come into force and the date of its expiry.
(3) Where on the date of expiry of the licence an application for the renewal of the licence under section 10B is pending before the Registrar, that licence shall remain in force until the application is disposed of, or sixty days after the date of expiry of the licence, whichever is the earlier.

Tempoh lesen
(1) Tertakluk kepada seksyen 11C dan subseksyen (3), sesuatu lesen hendaklah, melainkan jika dibatalkan lebih awal, sah bagi tempoh tidak melebihi dua tahun.
(2) Apabila lesen diberikan, Pendaftar hendaklah menyatakan dalam lesen itu tarikh lesen itu mula berkuat kuasa dan tarikh habis tempohnya.
(3) Jika pada tarikh habis tempoh lesen itu suatu permohonan bagi pembaharuan lesen itu di bawah seksyen 10B masih belum diputuskan oleh Pendaftar, lesen itu hendaklah kekal berkuat kuasa sehingga permohonan itu diputuskan, atau enam puluh hari selepas tarikh habis tempoh lesen itu, mengikut mana-mana yang terdahulu.
