Pawnbrokers Act 1972 s 37

s 37 Public notice

A Magistrate may order that public notice as he deems fit shall be given calling upon all persons claiming an interest in any article forfeited under this Act to make claim within a specified period and may adjudicate upon any claim made; and after the expiry of such period all articles not so claimed shall become the property of the Government and may be disposed of by public auction or otherwise as the Magistrate may direct.

Notis awam

Seseorang Majistret boleh memerintahkan bahawa notis awam yang difikirkannya patut hendaklah diberikan bagi meminta semua orang yang menuntut sesuatu kepentingan atas apa-apa barang yang dilucuthakkan di bawah Akta ini untuk membuat tuntutan dalam suatu tempoh yang ditetapkan dan boleh membuat keputusan atas apa-apa tuntutan yang dibuat; dan selepas tamat tempoh itu semua barangan yang tidak dituntut sedemikian hendaklah menjadi harta Kerajaan dan boleh dilupuskan dengan lelongan awam atau dengan selainnya sebagaimana yang diarahkan oleh Majistret itu.
