Trademarks Act 2019 s 27
(1) The Minister may, by order published in the Gazette, declare a country as having made arrangements with Malaysia for the reciprocal protection of trademark. (2) In relation to a declared foreign country, this section shall apply only for the duration of the period the order continues in force in respect of that country. (3) For the purposes of this section, all requirements and procedures in section 26 shall be applicable.
Tuntutan keutamaan daripada permohonan luar negara lain yang berkaitan
(1) Menteri boleh, melalui perintah yang disiarkan dalam Warta, mengisytiharkan suatu negara sebagai telah membuat perkiraan dengan Malaysia bagi perlindungan salingan cap dagangan. (2) Berhubung dengan suatu pengisytiharan negara asing, seksyen ini hendaklah terpakai selama tempoh perintah itu terus berkuat kuasa berkenaan dengan negara itu. (3) Bagi maksud seksyen ini, semua kehendak dan tatacara dalam seksyen 26 hendaklah terpakai.
