s 4 Common seal

(1) The Corporation shall have a common seal which may be broken, changed, altered and made anew as the Corporation thinks fit. (2) Until a seal is provided under this section, a stamp bearing the inscription “Lady Superior of the Society of Saint Maur” may be used as the common seal of the Corporation. (3) No deed, document or other instrument sealed with the seal of the Corporation shall be deemed to be duly sealed unless— (a) the seal has been affixed in the presence of the holder of the office or her attorney duly authorized by a power of attorney registered under the Powers of Attorney Act 1949 [Act 424]; and (b) the deed, document or other instrument is signed by the holder of the office or her attorney. (4) The signing of the deed, document or other instrument shall be sufficient evidence of the due sealing of the deed, document or other instrument.
