Currency Act 2020 s 9
(1) Currency note and currency coin issued by the Bank— (a) shall be in such denomination of ringgit or sen; and (b) shall be of such form, characteristics or design, or bear such feature or device, as approved by the Minister, on the recommendation of the Bank. (2) The standard weight and composition of currency coin issued by the Bank and the amount of remedy and variation shall be as approved by the Minister, on the recommendation of the Bank.
Denominasi dan bentuk mata wang
(1) Mata wang kertas dan mata wang syiling yang dikeluarkan oleh Bank— (a) hendaklah dalam denominasi ringgit atau sen; dan (b) hendaklah dalam bentuk, ciri-ciri atau reka bentuk, atau mengandungi ciri atau peranti, sebagaimana yang diluluskan oleh Menteri, atas syor Bank. (2) Piawai berat dan komposisi mata wang syiling yang dikeluarkan oleh Bank dan amaun remedi dan ubahan hendaklah sebagaimana yang diluluskan oleh Menteri, atas syor Bank.
