s 3 Appointment of Registrar, Deputy Registrars and other officers
(1) The Yang di-Pertuan Agong may appoint a Registrar of Societies and such number of Deputy Registrars as he may consider necessary for the purposes of this Act.
(1 A ) The Minister may appoint such number of Assistant Registrars and such other officers as he may consider necessary for the proper administration of this Act.
(1 B) The Deputy Registrars, Assistant Registrars and other officers appointed under subsections (1) and (1A) respectively shall be under the direction and control of the Registrar.
(2) All officers appointed under subsections (1) and (1A) shall be deemed to be public servants for the purposes of the Penal Code [Act 574].
(3) No suit shall lie against any public officer for anything done or omitted to be done by him in good faith without negligence and in intended exercise of any power or performance of any duty conferred or imposed on him by this Act.

Pelantikan Pendaftar, Timbalan Pendaftar dan pegawai lain
(1) Yang di-Pertuan Agong boleh melantik seorang Pendaftar Pertubuhan dan apa-apa bilangan Timbalan Pendaftar yang difikirkannya perlu bagi maksud Akta ini.
(1A) Menteri boleh melantik apa-apa bilangan Penolong Pendaftar dan pegawai lain yang difikirkannya perlu bagi pentadbiran yang sepatutnya Akta ini.
(1B) Timbalan Pendaftar, Penolong Pendaftar dan pegawai lain yang dilantik masing-masing di bawah subseksyen (1) dan (1A) hendaklah berada di bawah arahan dan kawalan Pendaftar.
(2) Semua pegawai yang dilantik di bawah subseksyen (1) dan
(1A) hendaklah disifatkan sebagai pekhidmat awam bagi maksud Kanun Keseksaan [Akta 574].
(3) Tiada apa-apa guaman boleh dibawa terhadap mana-mana pegawai awam bagi apa-apa jua yang dilakukan atau ditinggalkan daripada dilakukan olehnya dengan suci hati tanpa kecuaian dan dengan tujuan menjalankan apa-apa kuasa atau melaksanakan apa-apa kewajipan yang diberikan kepadanya atau dikenakan ke atasnya oleh Akta ini.
