s 3 Registrar, Deputy Registrar and Assistant Registrar
(1) The Director General of the Corporation shall be the Registrar of Geographical Indications and have control of the Geographical Indications Office.
(2) The Registrar shall perform the duties imposed and exercise the powers conferred on him under this Act for the proper administration of this Act.
(3) The Corporation may appoint, on such terms and conditions as the Corporation may determine, from amongst persons in the employment of the Corporation, such number of Deputy Registrars of Geographical Indications, Assistant Registrars of Geographical Indications and other officers as may be necessary for the proper administration of this Act.
(4) Subject to the general direction and control of the Registrar and to such conditions or restrictions as may be imposed by the Registrar, a Deputy Registrar or an Assistant Registrar may exercise any power of the Registrar under this Act.
(5) The Registrar shall have a seal of such device as may be approved by the Corporation and the impressions of such seal shall be judicially noticed and admitted in evidence.

Pendaftar, Timbalan Pendaftar dan Penolong Pendaftar
(1) K e t u a P e n g a r a h P e r b a d a n a n h e n d a k l a h m e n j a d i Pendaftar Petunjuk Geografi dan mempunyai kawalan terhadap Pejabat Petunjuk Geografi.
(2) Pendaftar hendaklah melaksanakan kewajipan yang dikenakan ke atasnya dan menjalankan kuasa yang diberikan kepadanya di bawah Akta ini bagi pentadbiran Akta ini yang sepatutnya.
(3) Perbadanan boleh melantik, atas apa-apa terma dan syarat sebagaimana yang ditentukan oleh Perbadanan, dalam kalangan orang dalam penggajian Perbadanan itu, apa-apa bilangan Timbalan Pendaftar Petunjuk Geografi, Penolong Pendaftar Petunjuk Geografi dan pegawai lain sebagaimana yang perlu bagi pentadbiran Akta ini yang sepatutnya.
(4) Tertakluk kepada arahan dan kawalan am Pendaftar dan apa-apa syarat atau sekatan sebagaimana yang dikenakan oleh Pendaftar, seseorang Timbalan Pendaftar atau seseorang Penolong Pendaftar boleh menjalankan apa-apa kuasa Pendaftar di bawah Akta ini.
(5) Pendaftar hendaklah mempunyai suatu meterai dengan reka bentuk sebagaimana yang diluluskan oleh Perbadanan dan teraan meterai itu hendaklah diberikan pengiktirafan kehakiman dan diterima sebagai keterangan.
