Geographical Indications Act 2022 s 4

s 4 Protection of Registrar, Deputy Registrar, Assistant Registrar and other officers

No action, suit, prosecution or other proceedings shall be brought, instituted or maintained in any court against— (a) the Registrar, Deputy Registrar or Assistant Registrar, in respect of any act ordered or done for the purpose of carrying into effect this Act; and (b) any other officer in respect of any act done or purported to be done by him under the order, direction or instruction of the Registrar, if the act was ordered or done in good faith and in reasonable belief that it was necessary for the purpose intended to be served by it.

Perlindungan Pendaftar, Timbalan Pendaftar, Penolong Pendaftar dan pegawai lain

Tiada tindakan, guaman, pendakwaan atau prosiding lain boleh dibawa, dimulakan atau dikekalkan dalam mana-mana mahkamah terhadap— (a) Pendaftar, Timbalan Pendaftar atau Penolong Pendaftar, berkenaan dengan apa-apa perbuatan yang diperintahkan atau dilakukan bagi maksud melaksanakan Akta ini; dan (b) mana-mana pegawai lain berkenaan dengan apa-apa perbuatan yang dilakukan atau berupa sebagai dilakukan olehnya di bawah perintah, arahan atau suruhan Pendaftar, jika perbuatan itu diperintahkan atau dilakukan dengan suci hati dan atas kepercayaan yang munasabah bahawa ia adalah perlu bagi maksud yang dihasratkan untuk dicapai dengannya.
