s 89 Power of Registrar to allow amendment of document
(1) Any applicant, any person who opposes the registration of a geographical indication or any other person who is involved in any proceedings before the Registrar may apply to the Registrar in the form as determined by the Registrar together with payment of the prescribed fee to amend any clerical error or any mistake in—
(a) an application for the registration of a geographical indication;
(b) a notice of opposition;
(c) a counterstatement; or
(d) any other document as the Registrar thinks fit.
(2) The Registrar may, on such terms as the Registrar thinks just, allow the amendment applied under subsection (1) if the amendment—
(a) does not in any way extend the rights given by the existing registration of the geographical indication; or
(b) does not substantially affect the content of the documents filed with the Geographical Indication Office.

Kuasa Pendaftar untuk membenarkan pindaan dokumen
(1) M a n a - m a n a p e m o h o n , m a n a - m a n a o r a n g y a n g membangkang pendaftaran suatu petunjuk geografi atau mana-mana orang lain yang terlibat dalam mana-mana prosiding di hadapan Pendaftar boleh memohon kepada Pendaftar dalam bentuk sebagaimana yang ditentukan oleh Pendaftar bersama dengan pembayaran fi yang ditetapkan untuk meminda apa-apa kesalahan perkeranian atau apa-apa kesilapan dalam—
(a) suatu permohonan bagi pendaftaran suatu petunjuk geografi;
(b) suatu notis bangkangan;
(c) suatu pernyataan balas; atau
(d) apa-apa dokumen lain sebagaimana yang difikirkan patut oleh Pendaftar.
(2) Pendaftar boleh, atas apa-apa terma sebagaimana yang difikirkan adil oleh Pendaftar, membenarkan pindaan yang dimohon di bawah subseksyen (1) jika pindaan itu—
(a) tidak memperluas dalam apa-apa cara hak yang diberikan oleh pendaftaran petunjuk geografi yang sedia ada; atau
(b) tidak menjejaskan secara substansial kandungan dokumen yang difailkan dengan Pejabat Petunjuk Geografi.
