s 71 Saving
(1) Any person who holds a valid certificate of registration as an electrical energy manager issued under the Electricity Supply Act 1990 [Act 447] before the date of the coming into operation of this Act shall, on the date of the coming into operation of this Act, be deemed to be a registered energy manager under this Act and may carry out the functions and duties of a registered energy manager under this Act until the date of the expiry of the certificate of registration, provided that such person has made an application to be registered as an energy manager under this Act.
(2) Any energy-using product in respect of which a valid certificate of approval under the Electricity Supply Act 1990 has been issued before the date of the coming into operation of this Act shall, on the date of the coming into operation of this Act, be deemed to have been issued in its respect a certificate of energy efficiency under this Act until the date of the expiry of the certificate of approval, provided that an application for a certificate of energy efficiency in respect of the energy-using product has been made under this Act.

(1) Mana-mana orang yang memegang suatu perakuan pendaftaran yang sah sebagai pengurus tenaga elektrik yang dikeluarkan di bawah Akta Bekalan Elektrik 1990 [Akta 447] sebelum tarikh permulaan kuat kuasa Akta ini hendaklah, pada tarikh permulaan kuat kuasa Akta ini, disifatkan sebagai pengurus tenaga berdaftar di bawah Akta ini dan boleh menjalankan
fungsi dan kewajipan pengurus tenaga berdaftar di bawah Akta ini sehingga tarikh habis tempoh perakuan pendaftaran itu, dengan syarat bahawa orang itu telah membuat permohonan untuk didaftarkan sebagai seseorang pengurus tenaga di bawah Akta ini.
(2) Apa-apa produk menggunakan tenaga yang berkenaan dengannya suatu perakuan kelulusan yang sah telah dikeluarkan di bawah Akta Bekalan Elektrik 1990 sebelum tarikh permulaan kuat kuasa Akta ini hendaklah, pada tarikh permulaan kuat kuasa Akta ini, disifatkan telah dikeluarkan berkenaan dengannya suatu perakuan kecekapan tenaga di bawah Akta ini sehingga tarikh habis tempoh perakuan kelulusan itu, dengan syarat bahawa permohonan bagi suatu perakuan kecekapan tenaga berkenaan dengan produk menggunakan tenaga telah dibuat di bawah Akta ini.
