s 6 Special power of the court to direct search and seizure

(1) If any court is satisfied that there is reasonable cause to believe that a document contains matter or information prejudicial to the safety or interests of Malaysia and directly or indirectly useful to a foreign power or to an enemy, the court may issue a search warrant to search for and seize such document even though an offence under this Act is not alleged to have been committed. (2) Where a document required to be seized under a search warrant issued under subsection (1) is so seized or is voluntarily produced by the person in whose possession it is, it shall be sent by the court to the competent authority which may, if it considers that the document contains matter or information prejudicial to the safety or interests of Malaysia and directly or indirectly useful to a foreign power or to an enemy, order the document to be forfeited, or order that any part of such document be obliterated, erased or removed.

Kuasa khas mahkamah untuk mengarahkan penggeledahan dan penyitaan

(1) Jika sesuatu mahkamah berpuas hati bahawa ada sebab yang munasabah bagi mempercayai bahawa sesuatu suratan mengandungi perkara atau maklumat yang memudaratkan keselamatan atau kepentingan Malaysia dan berguna secara langsung atau secara tidak langsung kepada sesuatu kuasa asing atau kepada seseorang musuh, mahkamah itu boleh mengeluarkan waran geledah untuk menggeledah dan menyita suratan itu walaupun sesuatu kesalahan di bawah Akta ini tidak dikatakan telah dilakukan. (2) Jika sesuatu suratan yang dikehendaki disita di bawah suatu waran geledah yang dikeluarkan di bawah subseksyen (1) adalah disita sedemikian atau dikemukakan dengan sukarela oleh orang yang memilikinya, suratan itu hendaklah dihantar oleh mahkamah itu kepada pihak berkuasa yang berwibawa dan jika pihak berkuasa yang berwibawa itu berpendapat bahawa suratan itu mengandungi perkara atau maklumat yang memudaratkan keselamatan atau kepentingan Malaysia dan berguna secara langsung atau secara tidak langsung kepada sesuatu kuasa asing atau kepada seseorang musuh, pihak berkuasa yang berwibawa itu boleh memerintahkan supaya suratan itu dilucuthakkan, atau apa-apa bahagian daripadanya dihapuskan, dipadamkan atau dikeluarkan.
