AN ACT TO AMEND SECTION TWO OF ACT NUMBERED TWENTY-EIGHT HUNDRED TWENTY-NINE, CONCERNING THE READJUSTMENT OF SALARIES OF PROVINCIAL OFFICIALS, AND FOR OTHER PURPOSES

Section 1

SECTION 1. Section two of Act Numbered Twenty-eight hundred twenty-nine is hereby amended to read as follows:

"SEC. 2. In order to carry out the purposes of this Act, the Secretary of the Interior shall, beginning with the year nineteen hundred twenty-four and for each period of five consecutive years after said date, order a readjustment made of the salaries of the provincial officials on the basis of the rules established in this Act."

Section 2

SEC. 2. This Act shall take effect on its approval.
