AN ACT TO PROVIDE FOR THE TRANSFER OF THE BRANCH OF THE COLLEGE OF LIBERAL ARTS OF THE UNIVERSITY OF THE PHILIPPINES IN THE MUNICIPALITY OF VIGAN, ILOCOS SUR, CREATED BY ACT NUMBERED TWENTY-NINE HUNDRED FIFTY-SIX, TO THE CITY OF BAGUIO, MOUNTAIN PROVINCE, AND TO PROVIDE FUNDS TO COVER THE EXPENSES INCIDENT TO SUCH TRANSFER.

Section 1

SECTION 1. The branch of the College of Liberal Arts of the University of the Philippines created by Act Numbered Twenty-nine hundred fifty-six and located in the municipality of Vigan, Ilocos Sur, is transferred to the City of Baguio, Mountain Province.

The administration and operation of this college shall be in the hands of the Board of Regents of the University of the Philippines, as established in the Organic Law of said University, and the operating expenses of the same shall be paid out of the funds appropriated for said University.

Section 2

SEC. 2. There is hereby appropriated out of any funds in the National Treasury not otherwise appropriated the sum of ten thousand pesos to cover the necessary and incidental expenses of the transfer of said branch from the municipality of Vigan, Ilocos Sur, to the City of Baguio, Mountain Province. Any unexpended balance shall accrue to the general funds of the University of the Philippines.

Section 3

SEC. 3. This Act shall take effect upon its approval.
