AMENDING PRESIDENTIAL DECREE NUMBERED SEVENTEEN HUNDRED FORTY-NINE BY ADDING A NEW SEC. AFTER SEC. THREE THEREOF

Preamble

I, FERDINAND E. MARCOS, President of the Philippines, by virtue of the powers vested in me by the Constitution, in order to effect minor amendments to existing law and to correct certain typographical errors therein, do hereby order and decree the following:

Section 1

SECTION 1. A new section, dominated as Section four, is hereby added and inserted after Section three of Presidential Decree No. 1749 which shall read as follows:

“SEC. 4. The Minister of Energy, in consultation with the Minister of Natural Resources, shall issue the rules and regulations to implement this Decree.”

Section 2

SEC. 2. Sections four and five of the same Decree are renumbered accordingly as Sections five and six, respectively.

Section 3

SEC. 3. This Decree shall take effect immediately.

Done in the City of Manila, this 16th day of January in the year of Our Lord, nineteen hundred and eighty-one.
