SEC. 63. The provisions of this Decree shall apply to works in which copyright protection obtained prior to the effectivity of this Decree is subsisting: Provided, That the application of this Decree shall not result in the diminution of such protection.
SEC. 64. Act No. 3134, otherwise known as the "Copyright Law of the Philippine Islands," and all laws or provisions of law, orders or regulations inconsistent herewith are hereby repealed. This Decree shall take effect 15 days after publication in the Official Gazette. Done in the City of Manila, this 14th day of November, in the year of Our Lord, nineteen hundred and seventy-two.
