Fishing areas reserved for exclusive use of government.

Section 31

SEC. 31. Fishing areas reserved for exclusive use of government.—Upon the recommendation of the Director, the Secretary may designate by fishery administrative order, area or areas in Philippine waters as fishery reservation for the exclusive use of the Government or of any of its political subdivisions, agencies or instrumentalities, or of the inhabitants of any municipality, or for the culture of fish and other aquatic animals for educational, research and scientific purposes.

Fish refuges and sanctuaries.

Section 32

SEC. 32. Fish refuges and sanctuaries.—Upon the recommendation of the Director, the Secretary may set aside and establish fish refuges and sanctuaries to be administered in the manner to be prescribed by him. All streams, ponds, and waters within game refuges, bird sanctuaries, national parks, botanical garden, communal forests and communal pastures are hereby declared fish refuges and sanctuaries.
