SECTION 1. The positions of mayor and vice-mayor of the City of Bacolod shall be elective, notwithstanding provisions to the contrary in the Act creating said city and amendments thereto. They shall hold office for a term of jour years, and shall be elected by the qualified voters of the city.

AN ACT MAKING THE POSITIONS OF MAYOR AND VICE-MAYOR IN THE CITY OF BACOLOD ELECTIVE.
SEC. 2. This Act shall take effect on the next regular election for provincial and city officials. All provisions of Commonwealth Act Numbered Three hundred and twenty-six as amended, known as the Charter of the City of Bacolod, inconsistent with the provisions of this Act, are hereby repealed.
