SECTION 1. Any provision of law to the contrary notwithstanding, the municipalities of Batuan, San Fernando, San Jacinto and Monreal in Ticao Island, and the municipalities of Claveria and San Pascual in Burias Island, Province of Masbate, are hereby constituted into one high way engineering district, which shall be known as the Second Highway Engineering District of Masbate, with headquarters in the Municipality of San Fernando.
SEC. 2. The Second Highway Engineering District of Masbate shall have a highway district engineer and other personnel who shall be appointed in accordance with existing laws and regulations.
SEC. 3. This Act shall take effect upon its approval. Approved, June 17, 1967.
