Section 57
SEC. 57. In case of the commission of a second offense of the character described in the next preceding section by any of the persons therein named, the person committing the same shall be deemed to be guilty of a criminal offense and on conviction thereof shall be punished by imprisonment for not less than one month nor more than five years, and, if it be proven that the offense was committed by the owner or the manufacturer or by bis connivance, all such articles illegally removed, the manufactory and the ground upon which it stands, and all machinery, stuck of goods, and other Si personal property which it contains, shall be declared by the judgment of the court as forfeited to the Insular-Government and shall be disposed of and the proceeds accounted for in the manner else-where prescribed in this Act.
