Section 16

SEC. 16. A transfer of public property involves a change of possession and accountability. The transferring officer or agent will furnish the receiving officer or agent with invoices and receipts in duplicate, accurately enumerating the property, giving its value, and the latter, after verifying the same, shall date, sign, and return the receipts. The transactions shall appear on the property returns rendered by each officer or agent. SCHOOL BOOKS AND SCHOOL SUPPLIES.
