Section 6

SEC. 6. Conduct of affairs and current business; officers and employees of the District.—The affairs and current business of the Metropolitan District shall be conducted under the direction of the District Board, by a manager, assistant manager, and such additional officers and employees as the Board may provide. The duties and powers of said officers and employees shall be such as may be denned and prescribed by the District Board and not be inconsistent with the provisions of this Act. The Manager and Assistant Manager shall be appointed by the Governor-General, by and with the consent of the Senate, and may be removed for cause by the Governor-General.
