SECTION 1. Section two of Act Numbered Thirty-one hundred and sixteen is amended so as to read as follows: "SEC. 2. The Manila Railroad Company of the Philippines shall expend these funds for the construction of railroad lines and the purchase of the necessary rolling stock equipment therefor, and especially for the completion of the lines between Aloneros, Tayabas, and Pamplona, Camarines Sur; between Bauang Sur and San Fernando, La Union; between San Quintin and Tayug, Pangasinan; and between Taiiac, Tarlac, and San Jose, Nueva Ecija, and for the construction or acquisition of hotels and rest-houses at various points in the Philippines."
