SEC. 75. Philippine Health Service.—The Director of Health shall have general supervision and control of health and sanitary matters and inspections in the city. The health personnel shall be appointed as herein provided for and their salaries shall be paid by the city pursuant to the appropriation ordinance adopted by the Municipal Board. The City of Iloilo shall be exempt from setting aside not less than five per centum of its funds as a contribution to the Health Fund of the Province of Iloilo, as provided for in section one thousand and twelve of the Administrative Code.
