SEC. 16. Section 32 of the same Decree is hereby amended to read as follows: "SEC. 32. Period for Submittal of Lease Survey Returns. A geodetic engineer ordered to survey mining claims shall submit the survey returns thereof to the Director within one (1) year from receipt of the survey order. Failure to submit the same within said period shall cause the automatic forfeiture of the surveyor's surety bond and the cancellation of the survey order. No extension of the period within which to submit the survey returns shall be allowed unless for reasons of force majeure."
