Section 8

SEC. 8. The head of the University shall be known as the President of the Benguet State University who shall be appointed by the President of the Philippines upon recommendation of the Minister of Education, Culture and Sports after consultation with the Board of Regents. He shall have the powers and perform duties pertaining to the office of university president, in addition to those specifically provided for in the decree.
