SEC. 2. Section 12 of the Social Security Law, as amended, is further amended by adding paragraph (d) to read as follows: "SEC. 12. Retirement Benefits. — (d) Effective January 1, 1974, upon the death of a retiree, a funeral grant of seven hundred fifty pesos will be given to help defray the cost of funeral expenses.”
