Partnerships.

Section 31

SEC. 31. Partnerships. - The Academy may form partnerships with different educational institutions, technical and standards organizations, and private entities for purposes of achieving the goals of the Academy. Partnerships may be in the form of research, collaborations, resources sharing, module and training development, faculty exchange standards development, training collaborations, internships, apprenticeships, and other similar forms. All partnerships entered into by the Academy shall be in accordance with the provisions of this law and approved by the DICT Secretary. There shall be no disbursement of any funds by the Academy or the government for the purpose of establishing these partnerships. The Academy shall be empowered to accredit courses offered by educational institutions, private or public, following strict competency standards and guidelines developed by the DICT.
